It’s the front end of a home-and-home on Sunday night between the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena. The Dinos are 2-point favourites on the NBA odds.

Bulls vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds

Sunday is the first of three regular-season meetings between the teams. They play again Monday in Chicago and then the Bulls return to Toronto on Feb. 28.

The Bulls won three of four last season and both at home by an average score of 112.0-110.0. OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. each averaged 22.0 points in the series. Pascal Siakam was at 19.7 points and 8.3 rebounds, and Fred VanVleet 18.3 points and 11.7 assists. DeMar DeRozan averaged 27.2 points for Chicago, Zach LaVine 21.5 points, and Nikola Vucevic 20.8 points and 13.5 rebounds.

Chicago is 12-3 against the spread in its past 15 in Toronto.

Chicago Bulls

I’m just going to be honest in that it’s going to be tough handicapping this with the teams playing again on Monday in Chicago so I recommend waiting until the last possible minute. There most likely will be some guys rested. The Bulls are off a 123-119 loss in Boston on Friday despite a season-high 46 points from former Raptor DeMar DeRozan. He will play tonight but fellow All-Star guard Zach LaVine might not. Reserves Coby White and Andre Drummond will not play. DeRozan never scored less than 25 points vs. Toronto last season. Chicago is 7-2-1 ATS in its past 10 road games.

Toronto Raptors

The Dinos lost 111-110 in Dallas on Friday as they couldn’t stop Mavs superstar Luka Doncic – but then no one can right now. Toronto nearly rallied from down 19 in the third. Guard Fred VanVleet missed his third game in a row with back issues and is iffy for this one. So is Pascal Siakam, who left the game in the third quarter with what coach Nick Nurse said is probably a groin injury. Siakam has been arguably one of the NBA’s Top 10 players so far. My guess is he doesn’t play in either game as it’s not worth the long-term injury risk. So we will make a pick presuming Siakam, VanVleet and LaVine are all out. Toronto is 6-1 ATS in its past seven.
