76ers vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds

These teams play again on Friday in Toronto and then the Sixers are done visiting there barring another playoff matchup. The Dinos won three of four vs. Philly during the 2021-22 regular season. Fred VanVleet played in just one of the four but did have 32 points. Pascal Siakam played in three and averaged 30.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists. Gary Trent Jr. played in all four and averaged 19.5 ppg. Joel Embiid played in three of the four for Philadelphia and averaged 29.0 points and 11.3 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey averaged 19.8 points.

Of course, the teams met in the first round of the postseason as well and the Sixers eliminated the Raptors with a 132-97 road Game 6 blowout. Embiid had 33 points and 10 rebounds, and James Harden 22 points and 15 assists. VanVleet was out for Toronto. Pascal Siakam had 24 points, and Chris Boucher 25 off the bench.

The Sixers are 6-15 ATS in their past 21 in Toronto.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers surprisingly lost their first three games – albeit two were to excellent teams in Boston and Milwaukee – but finally got that first victory on Monday at home, 120-106 over a bad Indiana side. James Harden was one rebound shy of a triple-double with 29 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. Joel Embiid was 8-for-13 for 26 points. Offseason addition De’Anthony Melton was supposed to have a fairly decent role this year off the bench but really hasn’t yet in averaging 6.3 points and 2.5 rebounds, and he’s listed as questionable for Wednesday with a thigh injury. Philly is 3-13-1 ATS in its past 17 road games.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors managed a split in a two-game series at Miami with a 98-90 win on Monday despite playing without reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes, who is day-to-day with a sprained left ankle. Toronto outscored Miami 27-14 in the fourth quarter. Fred VanVleet had 24 points, Pascal Siakam 23 points and nine rebounds, and former Heat player Precious Achiuwa grabbed 22 rebounds for the Raptors, the most ever by a Toronto reserve. Chris Boucher made his season debut off injury and had 10 points in 12 minutes off the bench. Offseason addition Otto Porter Jr. has yet to debut. The Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their past seven Wednesday games.
