Even if you’ve been living under a rock, you likely still heard the huge news that Katie Holmes filed for a divorce from Tom Cruise. The reason for the alleged split is Cruise’s controversial ties with the Church of Scientology and that Holmes feared her daughter would be subjected to their teachings on a giant boat in the middle of the ocean. True story.
Today, even more details leaked about what Holmes will have left after she splits from Cruise – which is pretty much nothing. Reportedly, Katie will walk away with what she brought into the marriage … and hardly anything else, with sources quoted as saying,“She’s not about the money. She’s not that girl. She loves to work.”
And with that, another one has officially bitten the dust for Tom Cruise… so we’re left wondering who is next on his radar? You see, Tom isn’t a man who will stay single for long – say what you will about his rumored sexual preferences – but this is a man steadfastly determined to live a heterosexual lifestyle.
Now, oddsmakers over at Sports Interaction have put together some very cool props on who will become the next Mrs. Tom Cruise.
Even with her recent head shave, Oscar winner Charlize Theron leads the pack at +800, with two-time co-star Cameron Diaz and Twilight‘s Kristen Stewart neck and neck at +1000. Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss, a fellow Scientologist like Cruise, is a dark horse at +3300, while Top Gun love interest Kelly McGillis is a long shot at +10000. Considering McGillis isn’t into men, this long shot bet is an edgy one. But hey, it’s Hollywood. You never know.
“Tom’s not a man to wait around after a relationship ends; he jumps right back on the couch, so to speak,” says Al Dannity, a betting analyst with Sports Interaction.“He moved from Mimi Rogers to Nicole Kidman in no time, then from Kidman to Penelope Cruz, and then on to Katie Holmes faster than you can say ‘million dollar franchise’.”
